__Melvin Petty

Melvin Petty has more than 20 years of executive-level technical, operations, strategic planning, financial and performance management experience. With such experience, Melvin brings a keen insight, highly innovative and energetic approach to managing the operational and financial aspects of Ingenium Corporation.

Melvin has spent his entire career developing sustainable business environments which produce long-term customer value and loyalty through innovative solutions to complex business problems.

Melvin’s expertise in performance and financial management is one of the reasons Ingenium is one of the fastest growing information technology companies in the United States today.

Melvin joined Ingenium in its infancy as Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer. He later was promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate Strategy while continuing to serve as CFO. As a result of his key contributions to the growth of Ingenium, Melvin was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer in November, 2000, and in April of 2004 Melvin was again promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining Ingenium, Melvin managed his own firm where he provided financial management and consulting services for IT companies. In addition, Melvin's previous experience includes Senior Operational and Financial positions with a subsidiary of Thompson Financials, (Disclosure, Inc.), a global leader in fully integrated business information, research, and analytics for the investment community.

Melvin earned a BA in Accounting from James Madison University and his CPA in the State of Maryland. He serves on the Board of Governors of the Holy Trinity Episcopal Day School in Maryland and the Board of Directors for Adoptions Together Inc. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the High Technology Council of Maryland, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, and the Capital Society. Melvin is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO) Washington DC Chapter.
