What is The Accelerating Innovation Foundation’s mission?

The mission of The Accelerating Innovation Foundation is to utilize the mid-Atlantic region's innovation ecosystem of industry, academe, government, and not-for-profits to promote business growth and economic expansion; to aid in the development of new generations of scientists and engineers; and to foster growth of 21st century jobs in our state and local areas. Our mission is realized through supporting leadership and educational forums, outreach programs, and pilot projects beginning at the grassroots level that catalyze innovation on a community specific basis throughout the region.

What is the mid-Atlantic region?

Our mid-Atlantic focus encompasses Virginia, Maryland, D.C., Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Delaware and North Carolina.
